Terms and Conditions
Cancellation policy
- If your appointment date or time is not suitable anymore you must give a minimum of 48 hours' notice or a FULL cancellation fee will apply. This fee will have to be paid on the same day your appointment is cancelled or missed.
- Please arrive to your appointment ON TIME - arriving early you will be asked to wait until your scheduled appointment time.
- A 10-minute late grace period. This is in place to minimise the risk of appointments running into each other. You must contact me if you are running late to advise you are still attending your appointment.
- Showing up any later than 10 minutes after your scheduled appointment time will result in automatic cancellation and a FULL cancellation fee will be charged. Continuous lateness will result in no further appointments being made for your dog.
Collection lateness
- A €10 per 30 minutes fee will apply (unless previously agreed) if dogs are not collected from the salon at the agreed time.
Matting policy
- At Paw Pad Grooming your dog’s welfare, comfort and health come first. This means that if your dog's coat is matted, I will have to shave the matts out with a shorter blade in order to remove them safely & painlessly.
- It takes much more time, precision, and care to remove matting. It also damages and wears down blades and equipment. For these reasons, an additional matting fee starting from €20 will apply to all matted dogs.
Pet Health
- I must be made aware if your dog has any health conditions or behavioral issues prior to your appointment. This is so I can prepare for your appointment in advance and tailor the groom to your dogs' individual needs. Your pet must be up to date with all of their vaccinations, worm & flea doses prior to every groom. If fleas should be found, your dog will be sent home unfinished and the full cost of the groom will be charged.
Fleas & Ticks
- Paw Pad Grooming is proud to be a tick/flea-free environment. If your dog is known to have a parasitic infestation, we ask that your grooming appointment is rescheduled to a time when your pet is free from said infestation. 24 hours notice must be provided to avoid a cancelation charge. If fleas are found on your dog we wil be required to do additional disinfection of our premises and equipment. An additional fee will be charged to your bill.
- If ticks are found over and above fleas a further additional fee will be charged to include removal. We will not be held responsible for any infection caused by the tick or removal thereof.
Groomer Safety
- If your pet becomes aggressive towards the groomer, attempts to bite the groomer or becomes difficult to groom due to behavior you will be contacted to collect your pet, unfished and the full price of the groom will be charged.
